The Belgrade Theatre's exclusive Directors' Club celebrated its
fourth anniversary in style by welcoming three brand new members;
Ibis Hotels, Hotdog presentations and party mask manufacturers,
Mask-arade, taking its total membership to 31 local businesses.
Established in September 2007, the Belgrade's Directors' Club
has grown rapidly over the last four years and the membership
scheme now includes local businesses such as the UK arm of premium
bathroom and kitchen manufacturers, Dornbracht, DeMarco Hunter
Solicitors, insurance brokers Russell Scanlan, accountants Chantrey
Vellacott DFK and Jaguar Land Rover.
Bringing the total membership of the Directors Club to 31 is
Earlsdon based Hotdog Presentations, who specialise in providing
first class AV equipment including projectors, laptops, plasma
screens and whiteboards for a wide range of events, Ibis Hotel
Coventry, which is part of the worldwide Ibis budget hotel chain
and Mask-arade which designs and creates bespoke masks for all
occasions, including this year's Royal Wedding.
Southam based company Mask-arade were famously declined
investment when they appeared on TV's Dragon's Den, but have since
featured in a follow up programme titled How to Win in the Den,
which highlighted the company as 'the one that got away.'
Graham Aylott, Development Officer at the Belgrade said, "We're
delighted to welcome these three new members to the Directors' Club
and see the group expand to over 30 members. At times of such
austerity, it's encouraging to see businesses taking full advantage
of the networking, hospitality and marketing benefits that the
Belgrade Theatre offers. The new members perfectly demonstrate how
we are able to benefit companies whether they be large or small,
new set ups or established global brands."
He added, "The Directors' Club is an exclusive membership
scheme, allowing us to offer a quality service to each member. We
work with companies to ensure that they make the most of their
tailored packages."
The Belgrade's Directors' Club scheme aims to strengthen the
relationship between the theatre and the local and regional
business communities. Amongst other things members can take
advantage of regular networking opportunities and social evenings
with other members and businesses across the region. Directors'
Club members can also use their membership to entertain clients,
target new markets, incentivise staff and demonstrate their
commitment to the local community.
Hotdog presentations, Mask-arade and Ibis Hotel Coventry are
joining the Coventry Telegraph, Coventry Building Society, Allied
Irish Bank, Belgrade Plaza, Advent Communications, Alsters Kelley
Solicitors and Shortland Horne Estate Agents, who are also members
of the Belgrade's Directors' Club.
