A renowned independent legal survey has recommended a Coventry
law firm in more categories than any other practice in the
city.
Band Hatton, based at Station Square in Coventry, has been named
as one of the leading and most diverse firms in the West Midlands
after it was listed in six categories by The Legal 500 - a
definitive guide to the capabilities of law firms across the
UK.
The Legal 500 lists the top law firms in the UK and Band Hatton,
which employs over 40 people, featured in more categories than any
other law firm in Coventry.
The achievement underlines Band Hatton's reputation as one of
the leading and most reliable legal practices in the region having
consistently been named in five or more categories in recent
years.
This time around the company made appearances in the commercial
property, commercial litigation, charities, family, education and
debt recovery sections.
It is also the only Coventry firm to feature in the charities
and education sections.
Philip Costigan, partner at Band Hatton, was also singled out
for praise by The Legal 500 which, when describing the firm's work
in the commercial property field, said: "Philip Costigan is very
diligent and responsive. The team has a diverse client base that
includes landlords and tenants, and various charitable
organisations."

listings confirmed the organisation's position as one of the most
diverse law firms in the region - diversity which stems from
knowledge built up since the company was established over 110 years
ago in 1896.
