Annual Staff Awards
Staff at Mansfield based Herbert Baggaley Construction were
recently recognised for their outstanding work and achievements at
the company's annual awards dinner.
This year the event took place at the luxury Eastwood Hall near
Nottingham and a fantastic night was had by all who attended. There
were many entries for the five categories, which are based on the
company's values, and the following awards were presented:
Our Customers Award - presented to Finance Controller, Julie
Jackson, for her understanding of internal and external customer
needs and for creating loyalty so that clients return again and
again.
Our Delivery Promise Award - awarded to the Kidderminster
Crematorium Team for delivering a quality, but complex project in
two phases. The client's operational requirements were met on time
and on budget, with zero accidents and no lost days.
The Way We Work Award - designed to promote and reward the team
who were committed to continuously improving health, safety and
environmental performance. This award was presented to the project
team who worked on Bosworth House (now Edith Murphy House), for De
Montfort University in Leicester.
Our People Award - presented to Chris Wright. Chris has worked
for Baggaley for 15 years and has recently moved into site
supervision after successfully completing his training. He has also
received first aid, scaffold inspection and fire marshal
certifications. Chris has been at the forefront in organising
on-site fundraising events for charity.
The Chairman's Award - presented to Gail Haggerty, Baggaley
Maintain's Senior Administrator, for her conscientiousness,
dedication and willingness to go the extra mile, which has greatly
contributed to the success and development of the Maintain
division.
Ian Baggaley, Managing Director, commented: "The awards were a
huge success and a great morale boost for our employees. The event
enabled us to get everyone together to celebrate our achievements
and acknowledge all of our staff's hard work. Congratulations to
all the nominees and winners."
