A Shropshire homecare company's website is proving to be a real
hit with visitors from as far afield as Japan, South Korea and New
Zealand.
Anchorage Care Group, which is based in Condover, near
Shrewsbury, is a family-owned company which has been in business
for over 20 years.
It delivers homecare services to elderly clients in their own
homes 24-hours a day, seven days a week, enabling them to maintain
their independence for longer.
Founder and managing partner, Margaret Rhodes, said: "With the
ever-increasing influence of the internet, it's vital that
information on our company is easily accessible to anyone who wants
to find out about us.
"And recent statistics for the last six months have shown our
website has been viewed by people from all over the world, which is
great news.
"As well as Japan, South Korea and New Zealand, web users from
the USA, Russia, Germany, Canada, India, Mexico and Spain have
visited www.anchoragecare.co.uk.
"We've also received hundreds of hits in the UK, and we believe
prospective clients and their families are increasingly choosing
the internet when it comes to selecting the right homecare company
for their needs."
Anchorage Care Group employs over 150 carers who deliver
homecare services to clients all over Shropshire and beyond.
The company is recognised as an Investor in People and has
received the highest rating possible from the Care Quality
Commission.
Its carers are all subject to Criminal Records Bureau checks and
the company always takes up references with previous employers
before staff are taken on.
"The structure of homecare services is constantly changing and
the way they are funded is developing all the time," said
Margaret.
"By ensuring the information on our website is continually
updated, we can make sure we keep our clients and potential clients
informed of how the industry is growing and the legislation they
need to know about."
