Leading accountancy firm Whitley Stimpson has bucked the
national trend by strengthening its firm with the addition of four
high-performing trainee accountants.
While firms nationwide have restricted intake in 2010, Whitley
Stimpson has taken on an increased number of newly qualified
graduates. This boosts levels to 9 partners and 42 staff and
underlines their investment and on-going expansion plans to
accelerate its growth in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Diane Li, Gary Milner, Emma Woolley and Adel Pavel join the firm
with degrees and will be based throughout the Banbury and High
Wycombe offices and will be studying for their ACA/ACCA
qualifications.
Malcolm Higgs, Partner explains: "We are delighted to be
welcoming the four new trainees into the Whitley Stimpson business,
where they will bring real benefits for our clients and the teams
they will work within. These appointments reflect our continued
expansion plans, positioning ourselves for continued profitable
growth."
Whitley Stimpson's reputation for excellence in training has
been further highlighted with excellent exam results achieved by
seven of their trainees. Lawrence McCelland has passed the
Technician stage of his AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians)
and Jan Martin has passed her final ACCA exams to qualify as ACCA.
Andrew Jeffrey has passed his final ICAEW exams to qualify as ACA
and Seonad Macleod, Tarlok Kharpal, Gemma Claricoats and Ian Parker
have all passed a further 2 of their ICAEW (Institute of Chartered
Accountants in England and Wales) Professional Stage exams.
Whitley Stimpson is an authorised ICAEW training employer with
an excellent reputation for training and development and offers
structured training programmes as well as their own internal
training courses.
Malcolm Higgs, Partner concludes: "These results recognise all
the hard work and effort that has gone into passing these exams and
is a real measure of the success for the training support and
development we provide."
