Stoke-on-Trent
The Auction department of national commercial property
consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), acting on behalf of the
liquidators of The Josiah Wedgwood Group, has been instructed to
put the once well known Tuscan Pottery Works in Stoke-on-Trent to
auction. The auction takes place on 12 October in London.
The Forrister Street property dates from around 1900 and is made
up of a collection of buildings, original and more modern, set
within a seven acre site with two prominent road frontages.
Simon Riggall, Auctioneer at LSH, said: "The property sits
within a residential area close to the centre of Longton. I
anticipate the property will attract a lot of interest due to its
history, but also because it offers substantial development
opportunity within an established residential area."
This instruction follows on from LSH previously disposing of
other properties owned by the Wedgwood Group.
