Lincolnshire law firm, Sills & Betteridge, is to merge with
well regarded Skegness based Norman Green Solicitors.
The merger will take place on 1 October and will enable Sills
& Betteridge to better serve clients in Skegness and the
coastal area. Rachel Eager, sole principal of Norman Green
Solicitors, following Norman Green's death last year, will become a
partner with Sills & Betteridge. Also joining the newly merged
practice will be criminal solicitor Nicholas Alderson, legal
executive John Blackbourne and support staff.
"The late Norman Green built up a very fine practice in Skegness
which Rachel has continued. This merger will continue our strategy
of serving the public and businesses across the whole county of
Lincolnshire" said Andrew Payne, Sills & Betteridge's senior
partner.
"I am very excited about joining Sills & Betteridge. Clients
need both the high standard of service that a local solicitor
gives, together with the comprehensive resources available in a
larger firm. We will not only continue to serve our existing
clients but also welcome new clients who will be able to feel
confident that Sills & Betteridge are able to deal with any
legal problem which they may have" said Rachel Eager.
Sills & Betteridge partner Gordon Holt, who already acts for
clients in the Skegness area, will be moving to the Skegness office
at 45 Algitha Road, Skegness.
Sills & Betteridge has previously announced this month that
it is merging with Boston based Richard Tinn Solicitors with effect
from 1 October and is to expand its offices in Spalding.
