A pair of lifelong Coventry City fans have started a Sky Blue
revolution of their own after designing their company's logo to
reflect their football allegiance.
Coventry City Premier Club members Richard Burke and Matt Branch
run specialist sales, lettings and property management company Pure
Properties in Broad Lane, Coventry.
The pair has over 24 years experience in the industry between
them and offer a range of services including assistance with sales,
lettings, mortgages, conveyance, removals and property
management.
Having supported the Sky Blues all of their lives, when they
decided to go into business together at the start of this year the
duo opted for a company logo which reflected their passion for
CCFC.
"I have been supporting Coventry City all of my life and Matt
has been the same," said Richard.
"When we were designing the logo we decided to only use sky
blue, white and black - the whole thing was geared towards being
similar to Coventry City.
"We are a very Coventry City-oriented company and the office
talk is usually about what is happening at the club."
The pair recently secured their seats at the Ricoh Arena for the
next four years and have taken out an advertising board at the
stadium to underline their support for the club.
"We have always supported the club, but now we are able to, we
want to give a bit more back," said Richard.
"A lot of people can turn their back on the club when things are
not going well, but we think supporting means through thick and
thin and we were delighted to be able to help the club out a little
bit."
The pair is also using their long-term commitment to try and
tempt other potential Sky Blues into the fold.
"Every month we have a prize draw for clients we have dealt with
and whoever is picked out we take to the next home match and allow
them to enjoy the corporate hospitality with us," said Richard.
"I am also quite heavily involved with local football through
Firefighters Junior Football Club in Eastern Green and if we have a
player of the month or a man-of-the-match we will take them down to
the game.
"We often see kids wearing other teams' shirts and it really
annoys me, so it is good to be able to take them to the Ricoh and
try to convince them to follow the Sky Blues!"
Pure Properties also recently held a competition with Mount Nod
Primary School to design a For Sale sign with the winner awarded a
signed CCFC football.
Tynan Scope, the corporate sales manager at Coventry City, said:
"We are delighted to have the support of Pure Properties.
"The backing of organisations such as Pure Properties, and the
passionate individuals behind them, plays a key part in the success
of Coventry City and we thank them for their commitment."
