Politicians and visitors to Parliament are set to raise a toast
with beer from the Potteries.
Titanic Brewery's Iceberg beer is on tap in the House of Commons
for a limited period from 12 September, 2011.
The distinctive light wheat beer will be on sale in the
Strangers' Bar which is a major meeting point between MPs and
visitors to Westminster.
Stoke-on-Trent North MP Joan Walley was among the first to raise
a toast to the success of her local brewery.
She said: "There is great local pride in the success of
Titanic's award winning beer. This is a wonderful opportunity to
promote the very best British beer from Burslem."
Keith Bott, Managing Director of Titanic Brewery, said: "We are
always looking at new ways of promoting our products and are
delighted to take advantage of an offer to showcase our beer in the
Houses of Parliament."
