The Institute of Directors (IoD) has named Dr Kevin Hard, CEO of
the Chilwell, Nottinghamshire- based company EvoEnergy Ltd as its
Director of the Year for Environmental Leadership, supported by
powerPerfector.
He was presented with the award at the Director of the Year
Awards UK Final held at the Lancaster Hotel, London on Friday
23 September. The event was attended by 400 people.
Kevin Hard (31), with his business partner Aidan Bell, jointly
won the title of IoD East Midlands Young Director of the Year in
2010.
EvoEnergy, one of the fastest-growing Solar Photovoltaics (PV)
companies in the UK, was started in 2007 and had a turnover of
£30million last year. It employs 250 people at six sites
across the UK and Chilwell is its headquarters.

Craig Errington, Chief Executive of Wesleyan Assurance Society,
was named the winner of the 2011 IoD Overall Director of the Year
UK Final. The principal event sponsor was Samsung Electronics.
