A Nottinghamshire Engineering Company has expanded into a new state-of-the-art head office building, after securing a six-figure business loan from Lloyds TSB Commercial.

Wright Brothers Limited, established in 1986 in Worksop, provides a comprehensive range of engineering services across industry sectors, spanning power generation to mining and quarrying.

Their new headquarters, including training and engineering facilities on Red Lane, will be completed this month, and will also house the company's two new operations - Trainright UK, which provides fully licensed Occupational, and Health & Safety Training and Consultancy, and Mediright Limited, providing a range of Medical Screening and Testing Services.

The new building provides multiple classrooms and Occupational Training facilities in addition to screening rooms for nurses to carry out health checks, as well as the company's Design, Engineering and Administration Departments. The two new business operations will help Wright Brothers Limited to continue to deliver a highly integrated service to both current and extending client base.

Stewart Wright, Chairman of Wright Brothers Limited, said: "We have a long established relationship with Lloyds TSB Commercial - we have been working with them since the business began some 25 years ago.  The manufacturing sector has struggled at times to fight the recession, but we are happy that the company is continuing to grow in these difficult economic times.

"The loan has enabled us to expand in style. The new facilities will make all the difference to our employees and we look forward to seeing the new headquarters in all its glory when it is complete. We operate in a competitive industry and Wright Brothers Limited is committed to keeping up high standards in order to stay ahead of the game.

"Our new Training Services are in high demand, both with our employees and externally across a range of businesses. Some of our work involves high risk locations, so Health and Safety Training and Medical Screening and Support is essential, making sure that all work is carried out safely, and to the highest standard."

Leo Magee, relationship director for Lloyds TSB Commercial, said: "Wright Brothers Limited is a successful business and has already achieved impressive results. The desire to continue expanding facilities for the good of their employees is great to see.

"It is fantastic that the financial support we have given the company has been used to provide a service that was not readily available in the region before. Local lending discretion is an important part of the service we offer our customers and as relationship managers, we have the authority to lend up to £500,000.

"Lloyds TSB Commercial is committed to supporting established businesses across the country and Wright Brothers Limited is an example of the sort of company that can benefit from this in Nottinghamshire."
