Miller Homes is putting the kettle on for visitors to its two
Birmingham developments this weekend, when the housebuilder takes
part in Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
At Miller Central on Rea Road in Northfield and Northcote off
George Road in Erdington, homeowners and members of the local
community are invited to drop into the marketing suite from Friday
30th September to Sunday 2nd October. They will be treated to a cup
of tea or coffee and a slice of cake, in exchange for a small
donation to Macmillan. The doors to the marketing suites will be
open from 10am to 5pm and all are welcome to help boost Miller
Homes' fundraising efforts.
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan's biggest
fundraising event. Last year an estimated 2.6 million people took
part, raising over £8 million, which has been used to support
cancer patients and their families during and after treatment.
This year Macmillan hopes to raise even more and Miller Homes
wants to help the charity reach its target.
Miller Central and Northcote are among a collection of 10 new
homes developments across Miller Homes' West Midlands region, which
are taking part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
Andy Moorhead, marketing manager for Miller Homes, explained:
"We are very proud to be supporting Macmillan and the amazing work
the charity does throughout the year. The World's Biggest Coffee
Morning is a great opportunity for us to meet homeowners and
members of the local community on a social level, while also
raising money for a very good cause."
