Maverick Telemarketing has reported a 20 per cent increase in
turnover in the last six months; a rise the direct marketing
company attributes to its location at Birmingham Science Park Aston
(BSPA).
The company, which moved to the Park in March 2011, stated that
it has benefitted from the networking, prestigious location and top
of the range facilities that the Science Park offers and now enjoys
an annual turnover of £500,000.
Chris Massey, sales director for Maverick Telemarketing said:
"Being located at the Science Park is a significant differentiator
for our clients, allowing them to come into an environment rich in
technological innovation that complements our business. It also
gives us the opportunity to work alongside like-minded people
whilst benefitting from the latest facilities and premier business
location.
"Being able to go for an informal coffee with companies located
just next door has already proven to be hugely beneficial and this
networking has significantly contributed to the rise in our annual
turnover. The fact that we have seen such an increase in so little
time is really encouraging and I can see no reason why Maverick
won't continue to grow with the support of the Science Park."
Matthew Hidderley, business development manager at Birmingham
Science Park Aston, said: "Through our services and the environment
that we create at Birmingham Science Park Aston, we can make a
positive contribution to the success of businesses like Maverick
Telemarketing. The team at Maverick have already used the
facilities at the Park to their full advantage and have
consequently seen a growth in turnover in just a matter of
months."
By 2014, Maverick Telemarketing aims to double the size of its
business and increase turnover to over £1 million. The
company already boasts a number of high profile clients including
IBM and Cisco partners and is currently rolling out a pan-European
lead management platform in conjunction with one of the world's
largest software companies for a global IT distributor.
Currently, Maverick Telemarketing occupies 1,400 sq ft in the
Faraday Wharf building, following an expansion from its previous
location at Water Street, St Paul's Square.
