Staff at Mansell's Stourbridge-based Western Region are celebrating after getting a top award which recognises the way the company treats and trains its people.

Mansell has achieved the coveted Investors in People Silver Status following a searching assessment by inspectors.

The award recognises Mansell's training programmes, people development and employee recognition.

The IIP assessment panel said, "People at Mansell feel there is a two way commitment between the organisation and its staff that serves to create a sense of value and appreciation." 

Regional managing director Steve Davies said the firm was delighted with the achievement and took people development very seriously.

"We see it as a major part of our business and an investment in our future. Training and development and allowing people to reach their full potential are ingrained into the Mansell culture," he said.
