Guy Green, Partner and Head of Corporate at leading Black
Country law firm George Green LLP has recently got on his bike for
charity, by doing the gruelling Land's End to John O'Groats (LEJOG)
bike ride in just ten days in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Guy undertook the 1024 mile challenge with a team of fellow
cyclists including Nick Hateley and Craig Bales from Poundland
Limited, Dominic Goold from Goold Estates and Phil Coles.
The team raised an amazing £12,600.00 for this very
worthwhile charity. Sharon Cottam, fund-raising manager for
Macmillan Cancer Support commented "I'd like to congratulate the
team on successfully cycling the length of the country and thank
them for raising so much for Macmillan Cancer Support."
Mr Green said "Cycling 100 miles a day for ten consecutive days
in some difficult weather conditions was a real challenge, but one
that we all raised to. I would like to thank my fellow riders, the
back up team and all of those who sponsored us."
