East Midlands' law firm Nelsons has announced the promotion of
four solicitors to associate across the firm's Nottingham and
Leicester offices.
In Nottingham, Alice Rees, Catherine Nuttall and Riaz Dudhia
become associates. Terri Harman steps up to associate in the
Leicester office.
The firm's chief executive, Tim Hastings comments: "These
promotions reflect the significant contribution they each make to
the growth and development of the firm. All are extremely
dedicated members of staff with invaluable expertise in their
specialist areas."
Joining Nelsons in 2004 as a trainee solicitor, Alice works in
the corporate team advising in relation to mergers and
acquisitions, company formations and restructures, constitutional
documents and shareholders' agreements.
Catherine also joined Nelsons as a trainee solicitor in 2005 and
works as a wills & probate specialist. Her work also includes
advising on the administration of estates, property transfers,
declarations of Trust, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection,
inheritance tax and asset protection.
Riaz joined Nelsons in 2007. He works in the Real Estate
team as a specialist in commercial landlord & tenant matters,
property acquisition and disposal, commercial or residential
development and property matters relating to pension schemes.
Working in the family law team, Terri Harman is a recognised
specialist in both international abduction and international or UK
adoption work. She joined Nelsons in 2010 and her areas of
expertise also include children law matters, care proceedings,
wardship, as well as advising on legal issues around female genital
mutilation, forced marriages and domestic violence.
