Independent insurance expert, JSW, has announced expansion plans as it opens its second North Staffordshire office.

JSW Insurance Services has outgrown its current headquarters in Church Street, Silverdale.

Around half of the current 20 strong team will move to office premises on the Lymedale Business Park, Newcastle-under-Lyme, over the next few weeks.

And Managing Director, Nathan Walton revealed plans to recruit extra members of staff to be based at Lymedale.

The plan involves Lymedale becoming the head office for all of JSW's commercial business, while personal insurance and the firm's niche brands, including landlordsure.co.uk, will be dealt with at the Silverdale office.

The news follows a recent expansion by the firm into new territory with new offices being established in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, and Halifax in Yorkshire.

"This is a hugely exciting time for us," said Mr Walton. "Since our inception in 2003 we have grown year on year and our operation has now simply outgrown our existing offices. 

"We have built up a portfolio of over 3,000 clients across the Midlands. 

"Expanding into Lymedale is great news for our team and clients alike. 

The new office allows us the opportunity to upgrade our IT systems, bringing the benefits of a more streamlined service for clients and more efficient procedures for staff.

"We anticipate our continuing growth will lead to more recruitment for the Lymedale office during the current financial year."
