Multi disciplinary construction consultancy Edmond Shipway has
completed work on four luxury spa suites at Center Parcs Elveden
Forest village in Suffolk. The Nottingham based company handled the
project management, cost consultancy and mechanical and electrical
(M & E) consultancy work for the £1.5m project.
The suites, which are a brand new concept for Center Parcs, are
located adjacent to the Aqua Sana Spa, giving guests that stay in
them, private access to the World of Spa. The luxurious
accommodation comprises of a large open plan living space, a
feature fireplace, twin or double beds and a private balcony or
terrace. They are perfect for friends or couples looking for
a peaceful spa break.
Edmond Shipway's role was to manage the project from inception
through to completion to ensure it remained on schedule and
delivered to the highest quality as well as managing the financial
aspects of the project so that the costs were kept within budget.
The firm also designed the mechanical and electrical services for
the project and worked alongside architects Jackson Design
Associates and contractors Lindum Building Maintenance
Services.
"We are delighted to have worked on such a unique concept whilst
continuing to evolve the Center Parcs' portfolio of luxury
accommodation," said David Stevenson, director of Edmond Shipway.
"We have established a very strong working relationship with Center
Parcs spanning a number of years and look forward to working with
them again."
