Dukes Bailiffs will be sponsoring the Partnership Working award
at this year's prestigious Institute of Revenues, Rating and
Valuation Performance Awards night to be held at the Telford
International Centre, Wednesday, 21st September.
The Stone, Staffordshire based company is delighted to be
associated with the inaugural year of this particular category.
Managing Director of Dukes and Co-Chairman of CIVEA (the Civil
Enforcement Association) Colin Naylor says "the value and
significance of partnership working in the public sector and the
community has been duly recognised by the IRRV and we think it is
essential to the future delivery of key services. A number of
government reviews have highlighted the approach, including the
Better Regulation Agenda and the Haskins Report. In addition the
Improvement and Development Agency is working with local
authorities to develop stronger local partnerships through local
Area Agreements. We welcome this initiative from the IRRV and I
look forward to presenting the winners with their award."
IRRV's Performance Awards have established themselves as one of
the most demanding and coveted of titles. This year's finalists in
the Partnership Working category are Dartford BC and Sevenoaks DC;
Preston City Council; South Dorset Revenues and Benefits
Partnership; Tower Hamlets BC and West Lothian Council.
The awards panel is looking for organisations which can
demonstrate they have developed partnerships which not only deliver
a much higher quality of service but have also achieved
substantial, measurable savings.
IRRV Chief Executive David Magor welcomed Dukes Bailiffs as
sponsors of the award. "This is the second year that Dukes have
joined our influential group of sponsors and it is good to see them
taking up this new category. Our awards night is always something
special and I know that competition for this category is intense.
Whoever wins will be a worthy titleholder."
