Perspektiv, the Nottingham based specialist in data-driven
direct marketing, has recently appointed marketing specialist,
David Thacker, to their team to boost their capabilities in the key
areas of direct marketing and cross media marketing.
David has acquired a wealth of experience working in a variety
of marketing roles over the last ten years and boasts key expertise
in consumer insight, consumer and market segmentation, data-driven
and cross media marketing, for both Business to Business (B2B) and
Business to Consumer (B2C) channels.
During this time, David has broadened his marketing knowledge
working at Experian Marketing Services handling Mosaic consumer
classification, Hitwise, Footfall and Goad maps for major domestic
and global retail, leisure and automotive brands. He also had a
successful spell at Nottingham Forest Football Club managing
advertising, hospitality and online engagement with large corporate
businesses and local SMEs. David joins Perspektiv from Micros
Retail supply chain where he carried out B2B marketing to
international tier one retailers and FMCG businesses.
Of the changing marketing landscape, David says; "Marketing has
naturally evolved with a highly targeted and personalised agenda.
Companies seeing the highest marketing returns are those that have
truly integrated marketing channels and more importantly, analyse
every interaction with a customer via every channel and learn from
those interactions. Creating a one-to-one communication with a
customer, where they feel valued and understood increases brand
loyalty and relationship value."
A key element of his new role at Perspektiv will involve
overseeing the creation of these highly targeted, one-to-one
customer communications as part of both direct marketing and cross
media marketing campaigns.
