Crowe Clark Whitehill, the national audit, tax and business
advisory firm, has increased its Hemscott's Adviser Rankings to
ninth place (from 19th last year) in the AIM rankings with 25
AIM-quoted clients, up from 11th last year.
It has also been ranked 15th by Accountancy Age up two places
with an impressive 11 per cent increase in turnover from £47
million to £52.1 million in 2011.
These improved positions come on the back of six months of solid
growth for the firm, both in terms of new business wins and
recruitment.
Richard Baker, Midlands partner at Crowe Clark Whitehill said:
"Our strong growth and improved rankings are a direct result of an
increased focus on the development of our corporate offering -
indeed, in the AIM market, this year alone, we have won more new
clients than the next 11 ranked audit firms together.
"In addition, we have consolidated our position in several
markets including: the alternative energy; mining, and oil and gas;
food production, and other financial service markets, and we will
continue to build our service to these companies on a global
basis."
Johnathan Dudley, Midlands managing partner, said: "We have
recently appointed eight new partners, and a number of directors to
increase our specialisms in media, property and financial services.
These appointments will help us further improve our service to
clients."
Mr Baker added: "In the Midlands we have successfully completed
a consolidation of our two former offices into a single centre of
excellence which clearly enables us to play our part in the firm's
growth in the corporate sector."
Crowe Clark Whitehill has just recently moved into Black Country
House, Rounds Green Road in Oldbury.
