Property agents and auctioneers CP Bigwood have established a new residential lettings office in the heart of Birmingham's business district.

It is sited at 104-106 Colmore Row and already the commercial reaction has been positive.

The move brings together two previously separate operations following the recent merger of Bigwood and Curry & Partners.

A five-strong team is based at the office, taking new landlord instructions, conducting viewings and dealing with completions.

Louise Kean, CPBigwood residential lettings manager, said: "our new office presence has been received really well. There are definitely more passers by peering through the windows and coming into the office to inquire, being a ground floor venue has help and it has certainly boosted activity.

"Prospective clients can come in and talk to us about properties and landlords can pop round to discuss how we might be able to help them. We are very confident that this will increase business levels."

And it has all been helped by new signage and a major promotional push.
