Centre
Global courier business Crossflight Limited is expanding its
presence at SEGRO's Kings Norton Business Centre in Birmingham to
manage the increased demand for its business.
Crossflight currently occupies two small units and will be
expanding into one 14,000 sq ft unit on Crown Road.
The company offers a wide range of high quality distribution
solutions worldwide, including express courier, freight, mail and
fulfilment, and logistics, making a Midlands base a must for the
business.
SEGRO leasing manager Jane Leedham said: "At SEGRO we pride
ourselves on doing everything we can to support our occupiers.
Crossflight is a great customer at Kings Norton and we're delighted
that their business has been so successful we are able to help them
move into larger premises.
"Crossflight will continue to benefit from all the facilities
offered to customers at Kings Norton including 24-hour security,
CCTV systems and on-site support."
David Hicks, procurement manager for Crossflight, said: "Our
Midlands base has been at SEGRO's Kings Norton Business
Centre for many years. We find the centre the perfect location for
our needs, but we outgrew our space. Previously, we occupied two
different units and with demand for business increasing we wanted
to expand the premises to a larger, more suitable location.
"The very nature of our business - international courier,
freight, mail and logistics - requires us to be well positioned
close to our Midlands customer base and essential transport links.
Birmingham is an optimum location with its close proximity to the
motorway network and its international airport, ensuring ready
access to our global distribution network."
Crossflight was established in 1987, and has a London
headquarters close to Heathrow airport.
Kings Norton Business Centre is the premier Business Centre in
south Birmingham, meeting the business space needs of a diverse
range of companies. Located on a 24.3 hectare (60 acre) site, its
local management team is able to cater for the needs of the
occupiers from its on-site regional office. The estate is
maintained on a structured basis providing a first class business
and working environment, with tenants benefiting from 24-hour
mobile security, CCTV coverage and consequential low crime
rates.
