Businesses in the West Midlands are to be among the first in the
UK to benefit from the launch of a new BTEC Level Three Award in
Social Media for Business.
Stafford based, marketing consultancy, Market Avenue, has been
awarded the first licence in the UK through BTEC approved centre,
Digital Marketing Mentor to deliver the new course. Individuals and
businesses in the region will be given the opportunity to develop
their social media management skills and learn how their business
can benefit from the effective use of social media.
Working in partnership with the Chase Chamber of Commerce to
host the first course, Market Avenue plans to make the course
available at further sites across the West Midlands over the coming
months.

The course is specifically designed to provide those with an
interest in social media and business focus, with hands on
experience, strengthening their knowledge, marketability and future
prospects. Courses are available in the West Midlands from
September 2011. The course costs £895.00 plus VAT, with a
£100 discount for Chase Chamber members.
