The team at the Grapevine in Bromsgrove are celebrating
following their recent re-launch party and investment which has
seen the front of the building opened up, flooding the pub with
natural light.
Along with the new look, the Grapevine is also under new
management with Craig Whitehouse appointed as licensee for the
business.
"I've been at the Grapevine in preparation for the refurbishment
and generally getting the business ship shape," said Craig. "I
think that the Grapevine has lots of potential and I hope to make
it a pub that is at the heart of the community.
"Whether it's a place to drop in for a quiet pint, somewhere to
watch the big match, a place to grab a bite to eat during your
lunch hour or somewhere to relax and let your hair down on the
weekend, the Grapevine will fit the bill. The re-launch party was
really well attended with excellent feedback from the customers on
the changes that have taken place. There were also a few new
faces who have popped back in so that's really encouraging.
"We've got a quality food and drink offer here at the Grapevine
and with the refurbishment we introduced a number of cask ales
which will rotate regularly. We've also extended our lager and
cider range and we now offer, San Miguel, Grolsch Blond and
Addlestone's cloudy cider, so we're really giving our customers a
greater choice. Our food menu is also top quality with a number of
money saving deals available, including two meals for £6.25,
a burger and a drink for £4.99 and a selection of dishes
starting from £2.99 which are available all day, every day
ensuring you can have a bite to eat without breaking the bank!
Craig continued, "Building stronger links with the community is
something that I'll be working on and even though the football
transfer deadline was last week, I've done some signing of my own
by signing the Grapevine's very first football team, Sporting
Grapevine. I'll be on the look out to sponsor and support other
sports teams and societies whether its darts, pool or rugby to book
clubs and mother and tots groups and would encourage people to
visit the pub to discuss how we can work together. I look forward
to making the Grapevine an important part of Bromsgrove
community."
