A local company with a pedigree for success is celebrating strong business growth after moving into a dedicated new office space.   

Oswestry-based Hollis Office Solutions, which specialises in the supply of business support services including IT hardware and software, network security systems, and traditional office equipment to businesses, schools and local authorities across Shropshire, has recently relocated to its new Hollis House premises on Maesbury Road.

The firm, which was founded in 1990 and currently employs 11 staff, has made the move from its previous base in a converted Victorian-era house on Salop Road to capitalise on recent growth in both the office supplies and IT security aspects of the business. The 480m2 open plan design includes dedicated offices for the company's sales and customer service teams, along with ample storage and warehouse space.

"The time really was right for us to take this step," Mark Bamford, General Manager of Hollis Office Solutions, explained. "Hollis House is an absolutely ideal location for us, just off both the nearby A5 and A483, and we've also spent thousands of pounds installing additional storage racking within the complex and building a loading bay for deliveries - all of this will help us to ensure rapid turnaround for our customers."

After initially launching solely as a supplier of photocopiers, Hollis Office Solutions has expanded its range of services over the years to incorporate other office equipment such as printers, stationery and furniture, as well as supplying and maintaining computer hardware and software, and providing ongoing IT network support.

Mark Bamford revealed: "The office equipment and stationery side of the business has been going exceptionally well, with monthly turnover trebling during the past year. We've even introduced a dedicated online shop www.hollisofficesupply.co.uk to cater for our customers' needs, which has proved to be a really popular addition.

"And we are seeing increased interest in our IT support services, especially our sophisticated network security systems. All of our technicians are certified by global web security firm Fortinet, which gives great reassurance to our growing number of clients, including a number of schools and colleges across the region."
