Brian Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at Midland-based health
insurer BHSF, has been appointed to the Regional Council of the
CBI.
Hall, recently accredited as a Chartered Director via the
Institute of Directors, was elected to serve as one of the Regional
Council's representatives, continuing the tradition set by BHSF
Chief Executive Peter Maskell, who served six years with the
CBI.
Speaking at the firm's offices in Ladywood, Hall said: "it is an
honour to be elected to serve such a respected body and I am
looking forward to learning a great deal about Midlands business
from my fellow CBI members as well as channelling to the Council
the views of employers around the region whom I meet on a regular
basis.
"To say this is a difficult time for business would be an
understatement and it is important, therefore, that organisations
like the CBI play their role in creating the most favourable
business conditions possible for employment, wealth and wellbeing
within the UK."
In addition to its support for the CBI, BHSF is a member of
Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and a keen supporter of the learning
and development programme put forward by the Institute of
Directors.
