They offer IT support to business all over the UK but it's not
every day that Nottingham's Bear IT signs up an international
actress and pop star…
The Nottingham-based company has just revealed that Aussie
songstress Natalie Imbruglia is now using Bear IT for ongoing IT
support for her up and coming musical projects.
Mark Lambert, the firm's MD said: "We have provided tech support
to the London-based celebrity hairdresser Tara Smith for several
years now. She recommended us to her client Natalie Imbuglia who
also lives in London."
Tara herself has many uses for Bear IT's security and support,
for the promotion and distribution of her hair styling products and
services.
Set up in 2003, the company now has more than 150 customers in
the East Midlands, and employs a team of ten specialist IT
consultants, supplies, installs and supports IT infrastructure, for
small and medium businesses all over the East Midlands and the
UK.
Bear IT any last made headlines for their work with leading
architectural practice Maber Associates.
Mark said: "The project, which improved Maber's data sharing,
and enhanced flexibility of resourcing across the practice, was a
major overhaul of technology systems and provided a high-speed,
fully networked data storage and recovery system, all of which
formed an integral part of the practice's business plan."
Bear IT has grown to become one of the biggest IT support
companies in the East Midlands with clients including Nottingham
Rugby Club, the Nottingham YMCA, David James Estate Agents and head
injury charity Headway.
