Jaina Patel and partner Sulman Hassan enjoy the trip of a
lifetime to Dubai.
Ms Patel, from Selly Oak, won the luxury holiday, worth the
equivalent of £3,000, in a customer competition run by
Birmingham's award-winning Indian restaurant Asha's.
The couple spent a week visiting sites like the world's tallest
skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa, taking a desert safari and being
entertained in the Gulf state's own Asha's venue.
Asha's was recently judged Birmingham's top Indian restaurant -
beating off hot competition from city rivals Itihaas and Lasan at
the English Curry Awards.
Launched by Indian singing star Asha Bhosle, it has restaurants
in Dubai, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Bahrain as well as
Birmingham.
