West Midland Safari Park is hosting HERO MONTH throughout
September as a special thank you to the emergency services for
their outstanding efforts. On production of their valid Hero ID on
arrival at the Park, members from the services will benefit from
reduced prices for themselves and for their accompanying family and
friends.
Heroes from the Police, Ambulance, Fire and Lifeboat Service;
along with Armed Forces, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and
Coastguards, will all be welcome.
The animal attractions which Heroes can enjoy includes visiting
the 100-acre four mile all-weather self-drive Safari, to see the
Indian Rhino; Cheetah Plains; the UK's largest pride of rare White
Lions; Elephants and Giraffe, to name just a few. There's a chance
to visit the Discovery Trail exhibits too, such as the Sea Lion
Show, Creepy Crawlies, Seaquarium, Seal Island, Mark O'Shea's
Reptile World, Twilight Cave, Animal and Reptile Encounters. The
New African Village, incorporating Meerkat Mayhem is a must and
"Walking with Lemurs" is thrilling. All in all there's - a total of
1700 wild animal encounters!
The amusement area with more than 30 rides and games, including
the Venom Tower Drop, Black Fly and Zambezi Water Splash, will also
be open throughout the entire event.
The extra special admission charge for Heroes visiting in
September (with the only exception of 17th September when the Park
is fully booked) costs £7.25 per adult (16-64), £6.75
per child (3-15) Children under 3 years of age are admitted free.
Rides extra in all cases.
Alternatively, a special fun package is available offering
combined admission and multi-ride wristband for a special price of
£13.99 per person.
West Midland Safari & Leisure Park is open 7 days until
Friday, 4th November 2011. Usual admission costs £13.99 for
adults, £11.99 for children and £12.99 for concessions.
