Drayton Manor Theme Park's new restaurant, The Grill Inn, has
now opened its doors to diners.
The restaurant, which opened yesterday (Monday 8th August),
offers an eclectic, mouth-watering and affordable menu specially
designed by Head Chef, Lee Holland, to ensure all taste buds are
fully satisfied. There is a variety of dishes available including
light lunches, such as salads and hearty meals, like barbecue
ribs.
Head Chef, Lee Holland, said: "The Grill Inn proudly serves
produce sourced from local sustainable resources. I firmly believe
the use of fresh local produce is the key to creating great tasting
food."
The family friendly restaurant can cater for 188 people
internally, as well as an additional 40 people on the patio. The
restaurant is open daily from 10am and serves lunch and dinner for
park visitors and hotel guests as well as local residents and
general members of the public.
The Grill Inn was created following a £350,000
refurbishment of the former Missanda Suite, which had been one of
the park's hospitality venues for private and corporate functions
since 1954. The restaurant also has a separate lounge and bar area,
along with two dining rooms, which can be hired for private
events.
