The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) is the latest in a number of
reviewing bodies to confirm that South Staffordshire College is
achieving high standards in the delivery of its courses to
students.
The QAA's report assessed Academic Standards and Quality of
Learning in Higher Education and also underlined the accuracy and
completeness of all public information published by the
College.
The evidence-based peer review was conducted in two sections
with a self-evaluation element supplemented by student opinion.
Head of Quality Improvement, Lin Wilson, was responsible for
internal management of the project and was delighted with the
outcome.
"The results were highly favourable and the College, its staff
and students can be proud of the report. It demonstrates the
College's commitment to standards and encourages us to go forward
with confidence, knowing that we offer learners a high quality of
education" Lin said.
