A team of employees from Solihull-based LaSer UK, a leading
provider of credit and loyalty services, has taken a giant leap for
charity in a group skydive that raised more than £7,000 for
Teenage Cancer Trust.
21 members of staff jumped 10,000 feet in Oxfordshire as part of
LaSer UK's Make a Difference programme, which encourages employees
to support charitable causes and local communities.
Funds raised from the skydive will help to support young
cancer-sufferers and their families after Teenage Cancer Trust was
chosen as the company's charity of the year for 2011.
Stephen Hunt, CEO of LaSer UK, said: "It was a great day for
everyone and one of the most exciting events we've done as a
company. This was a brilliant chance to get actively involved in
helping a worthwhile cause, and we're delighted that so many
employees took up the challenge."
