The team at Rocket, the Northampton-based marketing agency,
decided to get into the balloon festival mood as they celebrated
the launch of their PR department this week. Rocket has extended
its team of marketers and designers with a new in-house PR
department to deliver top-marks PR activity for a wide range of
their clients.
The initial idea was to launch the four-foot balloons into the
skies of Northampton, but Rocket opted to hand the giant letters
out to the on looking crowd, delighting the kids that were hanging
out at the Guildhall.
Neil Thompson, managing director of Rocket, said: "We've been
handling PR for several years but the time was right to expand to a
fully dedicated team to formalize the offering. Exciting
times!"
New head of PR, Karen Thurlow, commented: "It's an incredibly
exciting time to have joined Rocket. The company is currently
experiencing rapid growth and its a fun, innovative company
achieving great things. Branching out to PR fits perfectly with
what Rocket is all about - a creative and strategically focused
agency with an eye for a good story to tell. "
