Some of Northamptonshire's key business players will be part of
an event next month which looks at the subject of Diversity in
business.
Sunley Conference Centre at The University of Northampton, is
the venue for an early evening Question Time style event on
Wednesday 7 September, organised by The Institute of Directors
(IoD) Northamptonshire Branch.
Sarah Canning, Chair of IoD Northamptoshire, commented:" Best
practice, success stories and good ideas to make diversity a
strength of business will all be shared at this event, with plenty
of opportunity for audience participation and lively
debate."
The contributors will include major Northamptonshire-based
companies. Paul Stephens, Senior Manager of Sales Leadership
Development from AVON; Barbara Baker, Human Resources Manager at
Bokomo Foods UK Ltd and Jon Hull, Head of Resourcing at RS
Components will discuss their businesses approach to recruitment,
management and the benefits of diversity in business and how others
can benefit from similar practice. They will be joined by Eve Rook,
Head of Diversity at Northamptonshire Police.
