Nelsons signs up as sponsor of IoD events

The Leicester office of law firm Nelsons has agreed a deal with the Leicestershire branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) to sponsor and support its event programme for a year.

The event programme sponsored includes the branch's Breakfasts, Professionals lunches and a Young Director Forum event.  As part of the deal, Nelsons will also host a series of jointly branded seminars for branch members on a range of business subjects.

Commenting on the sponsorship, chairman of the IoD Leicester branch, Shahid Sheikh says: "Leicestershire IoD is delighted to be working with Nelsons on our programme of events for the next year. We look forward to working closely over the next few months in delivering the branded seminars as well as our established breakfasts and professionals lunches."

James Coningsby, a director at Nelsons' Leicester office comments: "The IoD plays a vital and vibrant role in bringing together and supporting directors within the Leicestershire business community. We welcomed the opportunity to contribute and take part in achieving those objectives through this sponsorship."
