The well established Moira based motorcycle suspension company K-Tech Suspension Limited has announced significant development plans and the launch of a new product after securing a funding package through NatWest.

The successful K-Tech Suspension was founded in 1997 by Ken Summerton and Chris Taylor, to provide solutions for motorcycle suspensions, specialising in racing. The company employ 12 people who boast over 75 years combined experience working with suspensions at all levels of racing including World Superbike, World Super Sport, BSB Championships, AMA Championships, World MX, British MX, World Enduro, World Rally Championship and F3. With their skills and knowledge K-Tech Suspension have maintained an impress continuous growth and development.

Although the company has been very successful, the directors are not sitting on their laurels and are now looking to increase the availability of their products worldwide to cope with growing demand. They are also aiming to make it easier for customers to obtain the parts they need and to raise K-Tech's profile in the performance motorcycle suspension marketplace. With this in mind - and with the financial support of NatWest Commercial Banking in Derby - they have developed and now launched their 35 DDS racing shock absorber.

Chris Taylor, Director of K-Tech Suspension Limited, said: "The Company has thrived over the last ten years as we have continued to develop our products, and most importantly have delivered the goods and services our customers want through our Parts, Workshop and Manufacturing departments. Because of our professionalism, knowledge and skills, we have grown and grown our business from small garages to what it is today.  The key to our success has been ensuring we bring the right product to the market and we know that the 35 DDS racing shock is the right product."

Mark Tunley, Director of Business Development at NatWest Commercial Banking in Derby said: "I'm delighted NatWest have been able to help K-Tech Suspension with the financial package to support the development and launch of the 35 DDS racing shock absorber and in turn support their continued growth. It has been a pleasure working with Chris, Ken and their wives Deborah and Sadie. In these challenging economic times, it really is great news to see a local business not only thriving, but also growing."
