Councillor Anita Ward.
Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councillor Anita Ward officially opened
the new Eurocell Building Plastics store on Minworth Trade Park,
Sutton Coldfield, on Thursday 28th July.
Councillor Ward was met by Patrick Bateman, Chief Executive
Officer of Eurocell, along with other members of the management
team. She was then shown around the branch, which offers more than
4,000 high quality building plastics products.
Opening the new branch has created two new jobs in the area,
with the potential for more in the future.
The Sutton Coldfield branch is at Unit B1 on the trade park,
which is just off the main A38 road that runs through the town.
This prime location is already a popular destination for
contractors, installers and DIY'ers in the Midlands area and is
now, arguably, the fastest growing Trade Park in the UK.
Many of the 4,000-plus building plastics products offered in the
branch are manufactured by Eurocell. This integration of
manufacturing and distribution allows customers to gain all the
benefits of buying direct.
This includes better value for money - the product is shipped
directly from Eurocell to its 115-plus branch network, along with
all the installation benefits of using products that are
manufactured in a quality-assessed production facility.
Manufacturing many of its own products provides complete
traceability from the factory to the site, giving customers the
confidence that the product will perform over the long term.
This recession-beating formulae has helped Eurocell continue to
expand with 10 new branches opened this year along - taking the
total to 115 across the UK.
The Sutton Coldfield branch offers free next day delivery on all
orders over £50 (ex vat).
