One of the East Midlands' most dynamic renewable energy companies, Intelligent Energy Solutions (IES), has been shortlisted in the 2011 Renewables Awards.

The Renewables Awards will be held at Coventry's Ricoh Arena on 8th September and form part of the nationwide Renewables Roadshow, which tours the country to bring new technologies, products and training to the forefront of the construction industry. IES is one of three businesses to be shortlisted in the Energy Management Installer of the Year category, which recognises companies that supply and install a comprehensive range of renewable energy systems and provide sound, environmentally responsible advice and support pre and post-installation. 

Peter Searancke, managing director, IES commented: "The team is extremely pleased to have been shortlisted for this award. Winning would be a fantastic acknowledgement of our hard work over the past five years and serve as an excellent endorsement of our commitment towards a sustainable future for everyone."

Founded in 2006, IES supplies and installs renewable energy solutions throughout the UK, including solar panels, air and ground source heat pumps and rainwater harvesting systems for residential and commercial properties.
