Fraser Brown solicitors has appointed two new specialists just
as the law firm prepares to unveil a new corporate services
structure. The first is Adrian Slater, previously of Geldards, who
has joined as new partner and insolvency specialist. The move is
set to strengthen a new business services division at the firm and
provide particular support for the team handling dispute resolution
and litigation.
Peter Thornley is Managing Partner at Fraser Brown: "Corporate
financial difficulty and even collapse is now part of everyday
business news ... from small firms to heritage brands and high
street stalwarts. Insolvency practice is an essential and we have
looked for a long time to find the right fit for the role. Adrian
has built an excellent reputation as an insolvency specialist over
the last 10 years and standing alongside our dispute resolution and
litigation team members, they present a formidable
line-up".
Adrian has waited some time to make this move: "Fraser Brown has
always been on the radar. Its reputation and structure is unique to
the city and opportunities to join the firm at this level are rare.
It is exactly what I am looking for ... the prospect of
building a new division for the business is hugely exciting and all
the partners have made it very clear that their support will be
unconditional."
"I must admit however that as a Nottingham boy, and a fan of
sport, Fraser Brown's new status as Notts County's shirt sponsor
has just been the absolute icing on the cake!"
The dispute resolution team has been boosted further by the
second new arrival. Alex Brooke-Smith, previously of Andersons,
whose specialism lies in the area of commercial and civil
litigation with a property focus.
