First time buyers in Erdington have given a new phase of
apartments at Miller Homes' Northcote development their seal of
approval, with half of the available homes reserved off plan on the
same day they were released to the market.
Situated off George Road in Erdington, just five miles from the
centre of Birmingham, Northcote is a well- established development
of two, three and four-bedroom houses, and contemporary one and
two-bedroom apartments.
An exclusive collection of six apartments in the Park Court
phase was recently released for sale at Northcote. Three of
the homes were immediately reserved off-plan and as a result just
three apartments are now remaining - two one-bedroom designs and a
stylish two-bedroom property. Prices start from just
£85,950 for a one-bedroom apartment - or from £68,760
with a shared equity loan from Miller Homes through its MiWay
scheme.
With such competitive prices and high levels of pent-up demand
for the newly built homes, the award-winning housebuilder is urging
would-be buyers to act quickly if they want to be part of the
Northcote success story.
Miller Homes' regional sales director, Ann Crick, explained: "We
are thrilled to have had such a fantastic response to the
apartments in the Park Court phase at Northcote. It is a real
achievement to secure off-plan sales in the current climate and
this is testament to the strong appeal of these exclusive new
apartments.
"The homes are setting the standard for high quality apartment
living in this area of Birmingham. They are therefore proving
popular with style-conscious purchasers, while the low entry level
prices and offers and incentives available are scoring highly with
today's first time buyers. As they represent such an unbeatable
proposition, we expect the remaining three apartments to be quickly
snapped up, so the message to potential purchasers is to act
without delay to avoid disappointment."
A selection of three-bedroom townhouses is among the homes
currently available at Northcote, with prices starting from
£161,500 for the three-storey Tyburn house type.
For buyers who need a helping hand to get on the property
ladder, the popular MiWay* scheme reduces the mortgage amount
needed to buy a new home at Northcote. Eligible buyers who take
advantage of MiWay* benefit from a shared equity loan from Miller
Homes for up to 20 per cent of the purchase price of their selected
property, this leaves them to arrange a mortgage for the more
affordable remaining amount. An added benefit of MiWay* is that
first time buyers can enjoy 100 per cent ownership of their
home.
Alternatively, the exciting new incentive Family Deposit enables
family members to fund deposits of up to 20 per cent of the
property purchase price. The family member will earn the equivalent
of five years' interest at five per cent on their investment, which
will be paid in a lump sum to them when the purchaser legally
completes the sale, making for a windfall amounting to thousands of
pounds.
Erdington is one of Birmingham's best connected suburbs for
commuters with the Gravelly Hill interchange of the M6 close-by,
opening up quick access into the city centre and beyond. Just five
minutes 'walk from the development, Gravelly Hill Railway Station
is served by the Cross-City line. From here, trains leave for
Birmingham New Street approximately every ten minutes, going
onwards to Longbridge.
