A partner in a Solihull-based law firm is planning to walk all night to complete a 56-mile route around the Peak District raising cash for charity at the same time.

Emma Harrison, head of wills and probate at HCB Solicitors, is taking part in the Bullock Smithy Challenge to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Care.

Emma, aged 38 who lives in Solihull, said: "While I am happy to do the walk for fun, I thought it would be a good way to raise some money for charity too.

"I am supporting Macmillan Cancer Care because they undertake such crucial work supporting those with cancer as well as being there to provide information and assistance to family members".

Emma's walk starts in Hazel Grove on the outskirts of Manchester and it has to be completed in 24 hours starting at noon on Satu8rday September 3.

If people would like to support Emma and help Macmillan Cancer Care they can do so via 'Just Giving' on http://www.justgiving.com/Emma-Harrison-HCB
