Documotive provides paperless document and process management
software solutions that help housing associations drive
efficiencies, reduce costs and improve customer service.
The company has moved from its central Birmingham base to
offices at a new larger 4,200 sq ft premises in Sutton Coldfield
with the support of Midlands accountancy firm Spencer Gardner
Dickins.
Founder and managing director Jonathan Holyhead said Documotive
had expanded significantly in recent years and will continue to
grow as the demand for the company's services increases throughout
the sector.
Just under 50 housing associations across the UK are now taking
advantage of the company's systems and have seen significant
benefits in reducing costs and streamlining processes.
Jonathan said: "Today organisations of all sizes are under
pressure to reduce costs and drive efficiencies of back office
processes and simultaneously drive improvements in customer service
- and in a nutshell that's exactly what our systems do.
"We are the only document and process management company in the
UK which focuses solely on delivering solutions to the social
housing sector and the office move provides a better working
environment for our growing team.
"Our new headquarters provides an excellent base to underpin our
future growth and expansion as our range of services increases in
line with sector demands."
The 31-strong firm operates with no photocopiers and no filing
cabinets and scans around 750,000 documents per month to convert
legacy paper documents for its customers.
The company's client base includes leading Midlands
organisations such as Orbit Housing Group, Accord Housing Group and
Black Country Housing Association.
Jonathan added "As part of our continued growth it has been
essential to ensure that our internal systems and suppliers keep
pace with our growing demands.
"We reviewed our accountancy services and chose Spencer Gardner
Dickins who have provided a pro-active and professional approach to
our needs.
"David Thomas from the firm has played a central role in
assisting us to plan our growth. At the very heart of our growth
objectives was to ensure strong financial performance and
stability. David grasped our needs and requirements and has
provided a tailored support package to meet our needs.
"We needed accountants who don't just add up the numbers but are
commercially aware and Spencer Gardner Dickins has certainly
afforded us this."
David, partner at Spencer Gardner Dickins which is based on
Coventry Innovation Village, said Documotive is providing future
proof fast technology which is becoming standard
practice.
"I've worked closely with Jonathan for around two years to
support Documotive's growth including the move to its new offices,
and in that time the business has gone from strength to strength,"
he said.
"The company is extremely forward thinking and provides a high
quality service which basically means its customers can take
advantage of the very latest technology and underpin a smarter way
of working."
