Staff and clients from the Midlands office of national audit,
tax and advisory firm Crowe Clark Whitehill took a ride on the
Severn Valley Railway, enjoying the picturesque journey from
Kidderminster to Bridgnorth and back.
A 20-strong party were offered use of the observation carriage
for the networking event.
Severn Valley Railway has been a client of Crowe Clark Whitehill
for nearly two decades.
Midlands partner, Dave Darlaston said: "It was a great day out,
a lot of fun and an opportunity to reaffirm business
relationships,"
"It was a wonderful gesture by the railway and very much
appreciated. I have been involved in handling their financial
affairs and offering advice for the past 13 years. It is extremely
interesting - they are a valued client. And I am particularly
pleased that they have bounced back so well from the 2007 floods,
proving as popular as ever.
"The thrill of a trip by steam engine through fabulous
countryside remains a great experience for young and
old."
The party included Philip London and James Sharp, from Paintbox
Group; Brian Appleby, Arthur Hough & Sons Ltd; Ken &
Brenda Bartlett, Karndean International Ltd; Harvey and Carol
