Nine years ago Carole Millward joined the Stourbridge-based
Western region of Mansell Construction as an administrator in the
estimating department. Now she has been named as Mansell Trainee of
the Year.
Carole, from Dudley, was given the award after joining Mansell's
technical trainee programme as a trainee estimator.
She has completed her BTEC National Certificate in construction
and is now in the first year of study for the HNC in construction
at Walsall College.
She said, "I really enjoy learning new things and I would
encourage anyone who has the opportunity to embrace the training
offered to them."
Mansell regional managing director, Steve Davies, said "We are
really proud of Carole's achievement. She is proof that, given
determination, anyone, wherever they are in the company or at any
stage of their career can reach their potential and enhance their
opportunities."
