Business is booming for Newcastle-under-Lyme office and archive
storage manufacturer, Rackline, after winning a series of new
business contracts worth in excess of £7 million during the
first half of 2011.
To meet the demands of the new contracts, Rackline has recruited
ten new members of staff and introduced an extra shift in their
factory for the next three months.
During 2011, Rackline has secured contracts across the UK to
provide office and archive storage solutions for organisations such
as Marks and Spencer, Somerset Heritage Centre, Great Ormond
Street, Reading University and Aberdeen University.
Rackline's Managing Director, Lindsay Khan, said: "We've had a
fantastic start to 2011 and all indications show that this should
continue for the second half of the year.
"We design and manufacture all our products at our site in Talke
and we're delighted that so many of our customers are realising the
benefits of buying British and helping to support the local and
national economy at the same time."
Rackline, established in 1984, designs and manufacturers
innovative storage solutions to meet the general filing and archive
requirements of libraries, museums, universities and colleges,
hospitals as well as accountancy and solicitor firms , and large
retail and commercial head offices.
