A Midlands direct marketing company is set to attract further
investment in the region after strengthening its services through a
recent merger.
Send Marketing Solutions, based in Aldridge, has used its
continuing success to integrate Derbyshire direct mail firm Seal
& Send, which will now move to Send's headquarters.
The move will also create several new jobs, and comes after a
sustained period of success for Send, which is part of the WAA
Group, and has an impressive client list including Halfords
Autocentres, Fujifilm and Sytner BMW.
Send managing director Guy Chatburn is delighted that the deal
has been completed and believes it will see the enlarged company go
from strength to strength.
He said: "Seal & Send's levels of service and quality are
very well respected by their clients and we aim to build on that by
offering them our additional expertise in areas such as digital
colour print, consumer profiling, data analysis and customer
insight. "Whilst Seal & Send's knowledge of the polywrapped
mailing market adds another important service to our ever growing
portfolio.
"The move brings us opportunities with a range of great new
companies and our aim is to demonstrate our array of solutions so
that we can retain and expand our business arrangements with
them."
The expansion will see Send create the new role of Commercial
Director, which will be filled by Seal & Send's Peter Robinson
- a move Guy is confident will bring additional expertise to the
company.
He said: "Peter has great experience, not only in a direct
marketing background, but also from building successful direct mail
and fulfilment businesses in the East Midlands.
"As we continue to grow it is vital that we bring the industry's
best talent to Send and Peter ticks that box."
Send Marketing Solutions offers both transactional and marketing
mailing print fulfilment services (posting around four million
items a year), as well as providing managed CRM database services
and undertaking complex data analysis and customer profiling. The
company expects to attract over 200 new clients this year through
its Send4Less mailing service which offers a complete mailing
package from 6p less than the price of a stamp.
