Whiting Landscape hosted the annual summer networking event of
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Constructing Excellence (HAWCE) at
their stunning tree nursery in Bromsgrove.
More than 90 guests were invited to tour parts of the 15 acre
growing area - not normally open to the public - before enjoying a
sumptuous barbeque at the award-winning centre in Wildmoor
Lane.
Guest speakers included Paul Ellingham, Director of National
Town Planning Consultancy, Alliance Planning and Alan Young, Senior
Technical Director of Integrated Management Consultancy Services
WSP UK.
Ian Collins, Business Development Manager of Whiting which
specialises in landscape construction for the commercial sector
said: "We were delighted to welcome so many members of HAWCE
and their guests to our nursery and give them an insight into the
work we do."
Tim Fairbairn of joint sponsor Midland's construction specialist
GF Tomlinson added: "It was the perfect setting for this highlight
in our calendar."
