pre-conceived ideas about the innovative two-seater with a unique
test drive event.
Held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August at the retailer's NG2
Business Park showroom, the 'Test Drive with a Difference' weekend
will provide motorists with an opportunity to experience all that
smart has to offer.
Visitors will be invited to undertake a variety of driving
challenges that are sure to prove extremely fun but also very
enlightening.
Guests will be able to sample smart's agility and responsive
handling on a slalom course that will feature some rather unusual
but seasonal traffic 'cones'. They will also be able to see how
parking is made easy by the car's ability to fit into the tightest
of spaces or even park perpendicular to the kerb.
And although smart's size makes parking simple, it doesn't
affect the car's cargo-carrying capability as guests will discover
in a loading challenge to show how much can be packed in its
220-litre luggage compartment.
Existing smart owners will find that smart of Nottingham has a
drive to please them too, thanks to the retailer participating in
the forthcoming smart festival on 10th September.
smart of Nottingham will once again be organising a customer
convoy to the event's venue at Mercedes-Benz World, Weybridge, and
local owners are welcome to join in.
As Matt Barker, Sales Executive, explained, motorists who take
part in either activity will find that smart really is a driving
force when it comes to having fun.
"Test Drive with a Difference is a fantastic opportunity for
drivers to see exactly what smart can do and in addition to being
amazed at its superb fuel economy of up to 85.6mpg and CO2
emissions as low as 86g/km, I think that they will be genuinely
impressed by its performance and practicality," Matt said.
"Of course, for an even bigger insight into the world of smart
then the smart festival is a must, its action-packed, fun-filled
atmosphere captures all that smart stands for and anyone who
attends can't fail to be impressed."
