Senior staff at Twycross Zoo got their teeth into a branding
workshop held by guru Richard Beevers at the popular Midlands
attraction.
The event was held by the zoo in partnership with Katie Bard
recruitment and looked at the theory and practice of developing a
successful brand.
Beevers is one of the UK's leading consultants and speakers on
marketing and leadership and has advised organisations such as
Ford, Greene King and Rentokil.
Twycross Zoo director Suzanne Boardman said the event proved to
be extremely valuable for the organisation's executive
team.
"In any business it is extremely important that everyone
involved within an organisation really buys into the brand, both
personally and professionally," she said.
"Richard Beevers is an expert in his field and the event was
useful for our team to look at how successful brands have been made
and maintained.
"We are committed to investing in the development of the
brilliant team we have here at the zoo and I think everyone who
took part found the exercise to be beneficial, particularly our new
members of staff who have joined us recently."
Julie Fouad, of Katie Bard recruitment, which is part of the
Angela Mortimer Group and has its Birmingham office in Waterloo
Street, added: "Although Twycross Zoo has long been one of the UK's
top zoos the organisation is constantly striving to develop its
offering and standing as one of the best places in the world to
both visit and work.
"We have forged a strong relationship with Suzanne Boardman,
Joanne Quimby and the executive team at the zoo and we were
delighted to introduce them to Richard Beevers who we have also
worked successfully with over the last few years."
